MIRIAM KROMAH

A woman of many passions and talents

About Me

I'm from Guinea, a Francophone country in West Africa. I moved to the U.S. when I was 9, not speaking a word of English, but I was fluent in four languages found in Guinea. I was enrolled in ESL from 4th to 6th grade. During those years, I thought I would never learn English. Fast forward, I am fluent in English; even my thoughts are in English. Of course, my accent sneaks up a lot with certain words. For example, when I say worm and warm, it comes out sounding the same. I used to pronounce "Human" without saying the H.
I refer to myself as a woman of many passions and talents because I have so many interests and I want to pursue them all. Whether I succeed or fail, I want to be able to say I at least went for it.
I am currently pursuing a career in tech as a Project Manager. At the same time, I am building my coding skills.

Something that I live by:

"You'll always have problems. Learn to enjoy life while you solve them"
